I have to get some new motors, I've spoke with Lane at sterndrives inc. Just wanted to see if anyone has done business with him before?
I can get a good deal if I wire transfer funds but without a credit card transactions I'm left high and dry if the guys not legit. Wanted to get some feedback from anyone who may have used his services. He sounded on the up and up but you can never be too careful.

i have done business with him , albeit on small items and was well satisfied. my feeling is that if i had to do motors, he is likely to be able to service you just fine as long as you do your own due diligence on what you are buying... i.e he will sell you what you ask for... if you ask for the wrong stuff then you are going to get the wrong stuff...
