Exhaust Y pipe repair

When removing my engines I noticed one of the ears on the Y pipe were it bolts to the transome was broke.Half of the hole is there and it didn't leak before,but can this be welded and re drilled?Anyone have a spare laying around that they would like to sell?For 502 mag bravo set up.

You might want to find a new one just because of the location of where it is at......below water level. I see them for sale at times CHEAP. But, yes it can be repaired easily and especially since 1/2 of the hole is still there. If it is corroded, it makes it very hard to weld. Alum needs to be clean.

I've got a couple (brand new) that would be happy to have a home in an OSO brothers boat for $100 each. We'll be closed until Jan 3, if you can wait that long call Dena at 954 545 8681 and we'll get it on the way.

Anthony, Buy two new ones !! I had one go bad before and its alot of aggravation to replace it. Go new with both while you have the engines out !!

Yep! $100 each is cheap for new parts that require alot of work if they go bad. And you don't want them going bad.
