Default Engine rebuilder Grand Lake area

My 502 has 374 hours on it and I would like to have the heads rebuilt. Does anyone know of a good reliable rebuilder in the Grand Lake area?

Thanks

Boyds racing engines out of Norman. Several of the LOTO shops use them for the HP stuff.

I've had great luck with marine assault here in Tulsa. He has built 3 motors for me and is currently working on #s 4 and 5. The guys name is Ron Munson, and owns moritz machine shop down on Admiral.

Ron is not cheap but he builds some killer power. In oklahoma he would be my choice.

I haven't dealt directly with Ron, but having a boater as the owner of an engine shop is a + in my book.

He had some pretty decent prices on final assemble yourself deals last fall. I think if you work with what he has in stock, you might save a few bucks.

Thanks guys. My son used the Moritz shop for a hot street engine and it worked out well. I didn't know they handled Marine engines. Time to give them a call, thanks
