I am running 454's with 8 to 1 compression. Iron eagle heads, no intercooler. The engine put out 625 hp @ 8 lbs.
I am wondering if the 250 blowers are creating too much heat at 8 lbs of boost? I dyno'd the engines, and exhaust temps looked good at all the cylinders, but I am concerned turning the engines to 5600 rpm it may be creating too much heat and I would be better running it @ 6 lbs. I do have both sets of pulleys, but I didn't dyno the engines with the 6 lbs pulley.
If you have any experience with this I would appreciate it.
