Why not Marine Molybdenum Disulfide anti-seize or even Zinc Based Anti-sieze. There are a lot more out there than just copper based ones. Check out Jet Lube.

I have to agree with GOOT here. I never use Anti-Seize on a boat for anything, I use the 24C and 101 and spline grease.

It's less tubes of crap to have to keep in the carry-on tool box that can bust open and ruin your day.

mr velocity,

think about what you asked all the antisiezes you metioned have metals in them and y would I want to use zinc based I already have zincs on boats ( get my drift )dissimalr metals on a boat dont mix thats why your using these products to begin with.... anti sieze in marine applicates usualy just makes it worse... and why go through all that when theres a product that mercuy designed for these applications

lmao......

it is an important issue concidering I charge by the hour and have fought with many many drives to get apart when people thought they where doing the right thing using antisieze.... which is a great product just not for marine where saltwater and electoiss and dissimilar metals are involved.......would you use copper based bottom paint on your outdrive ( thats why they make special anti folant paint for alunimmum) or use the same material to keep something from siezing that you use to sacrice instead of your drive (zinc...its used so that eletroisis will attac it instead of the alunm of the drive )

didnt mean to get long winded on the subject

just would rather see it done right then for people to have to pay people like me to set it right after its F**ked up
