I'm sending my blowers to The Blower Shop for rebuilding. I removed the blowers and throttle body's as a unit. Now I have to remove the throttle body's and mounting plates. I thought all I would have to do is remove the bolts from the throttle body mounting plates and everything would come off as one part.
Unfortunately two of the allen screws are covered by the back corners of each throttle body. From what I can tell there are three nuts that hold the throttle body's onto the mounting plate.
My question is if I remove the six nuts that attach the throttle body's will they lift off the mounting plate? Anything else I should be looking out for?
Thanks
Roger

OK, everything came off with no surprises and they are on the way to The Blower Shop.
While I'm waiting for them to return, I want to clean the throttle bodies. Will the regular spray type carb cleaner do the trick. I'm concerned that the carb cleaner will damage the injectors. Should I remove them first?
Thanks
