Mc Gard offered that if I provide them with a series of digital pics that show the seqencing of the tangs- they can replicate the key . I think were going to give that a try as I dont think ill need to remove the prop in the immediate future.

yup, I purchased my baja with a McGard stern drive lock and a prop lock with no keys,, I drew up some pics with the locations of the slots @ 1:00 6:00 and 9:00 and they mailed me a few to try, kept the ones that worked and mailed the other back.. McGard was very helpful..
