Default Cleaning lowers on 6's

Anyone have an easy system for cleaning the black stain from a #6 lower case?

I can't remember what cleaner I use. I think CLR but not for sure. The best trick though is to use a scotch brite pad with whatever cleaner. Use a front to back motion, ie, going with the grain of the metal. Works incredible.
