Default Guest on-board batt chargers..

My 2611 guest was not hooked up power lead to the battery.eevrything else was.I also have no manual as to tell me how it works and what the lights mean.

I went out today and the green light was on only and the volt meter read 12.2-4..I turned some accesories on and the volt meter dropped to 10.5 and the green light went off...I turned everything off and let it sit.I go out 20 mintues or so later and the green light is off still..no lights on the charger at all and the volt gauge says 12.5-7..I hookup my handheld volt meter and it says 13.2 or a touch more with no accesories on...I turn some on and the the volts drop to mid 12's and the green light comes on?.......I'm lost

A week before I had figured out the leads to the batts where undone from the charger..I hooked them up and Bam! all worked great..volts up over 13volts in a couple minutes and the red and green ight where on together for awhile.I assume a full charge as the batts where pretty low...Today I find my previuos post and no red light at anytime with any load...

I did just figure out that both charger lead where hooked to one battery..I hooked them up the correct batts and the redlight came back on for awhile and the dash gauge was back to 13v..wonder if this had any adverse effect.?...Hmm

I had two interstate deep cycles..one was way bad with a load it went right dead.We replaced it with a duralast dual purpose 1000..this was about a month ago...I'm also wondering if the other interstate has developed an issue..Hmmm.It hasn't gone dead or anything but my interior lights where dimming with the radio on..even with the amp down low..voltage issue for sure. That was before I realized the charger wasn't hooked up to the batteries..since then here is where I am at.I seriuosly think that between a deepcycle and a dual purpose and a 10amp dual bank charger I shouldn't have any voltage issues just running some lights and a deck with a nice amp..not wide open but using it..I was having the issue with the shore power on...
