particular position for spring washer on Bravo X drive props??
Just purchased a 35 Lightning with Bravo XR's ... question is, where does the spring washer (conical washer, or "bellville" washer) go in the stack of the 3 washers. I know the thick washer goes against the prop, but does the spring washer go in the middle of the three (and orientation - center protruding towards the nut or the prop??) or against the prop nut. Props are labbed 30p Bravo 1's. I would rather have just plain old 30p Bravo 1's instead of the labbed props because we have little kids and afraid they will cut themselves on the props - they are really sharp and really don't "need" the labbed props (I think)! Really can't bring myself to "undo" the sharp edges, since they are labbed props, but .... Anyone want to trade a set of perfect 30p Bravo's for a set of perfect labbed Bravo's ... let me know. Not sure who did the work, as I can't find any marking, other than they are more satin finish than polished. Real question, though, is the order of the washers, if it matters, other than the thick one against the prop.
Thanks,
Bob T.
