I called Dean, he was rather helpful, said about the only way the orginal problem could possibly develope was thermostats installed incorrectly. Both motors doing the same thing, at the same time, is pretty conclusive.
Also said valve breaking was likely from microscopic damage to them from heat when motors first got hot.
Also said remove water pump and put cross overs in to get more water to motors.
