Default trim tab problem

trim tab goes down but will not go up , if i press in up position the solinoid doesnt even click. I jumped the solinoid that controls the up and it raised the tab. Could my problem be the switch? I havnt tried swapping the switches yet if i have to i will I figured there are some pretty knowledgable people on here that could give me a quick answer THANK YOU in advance

Default Re: trim tab problem

I would suggest taking a 12 volt test light and ck 12v power to both trim switches, then work the switches and ck out put of trim switches. If all is okay at switches, go to motor and ck same wires from switches to solenoid's and ck for 12v. Be sure to recheck all grounds!!
