Measuring For Tail Pipe Question
If I measure for one side would it be the same dimensions for the other ?
Also, currently have Merlin heads changing over to Dart. Would this effect anything ?

Re: Measuring For Tail Pipe Question
Not sure how you are measuring but exhausts are diferent lengths r to l. Look at the top of your engine. One cylinder head is farther back than the other. As for cylinder head differences, some have raised exhausts. .600 is common. It's enough to cause problems sometimes.

Also the holes in the transom are not always in the correct location. It would be best to measure both sides and save yourself a lot of headaches if you're having custom tailpipes built.

Re: Measuring For Tail Pipe Question
Was hoping to save some time before pulling the other engine. I guess I'll need to wait.
Thanks for the replys.
