Doing good and watching the weather forcast for the weekend

I was told the same thing as Strip, I have a melling hi-volume pump set at 72psi bypass, with the v-twin oil I never see less than 40psi even at 260* oil temp. Cold, it pegs at 80psi, so I run real easy until I see some oil temp.

I am see alot less oil pressure when hot, but I am running high bearing clear, and straight 40 Val racing oil. I am sure the syn would help, but its not showing any signs of a prob at 7.5psi after I tore it down this past winter.we will see what happens at 9

HV pumps, 50W racing oil. 90 psi WOT cold, 80 psi hot and 50-60 @ idle.

Some may say it's high but I don't mind!

My concern about high oil pressure (not confirmed) is that this would throw off the differential bypass in the gen5/6 blocks (the 30psi spring if installed) causing more oil to bypass the cooler.

Likewise it may cause the filter to bypass more at cold start up.

Don't know if these concerns are valid, just wondering.

My gen 4 has the filter pad adapter bypass plugged so that I know all the oil goes to the cooler and remote filter.

I don't have a bypass.
