I used a pair of needle nose. The needle nose when open just right can be used to fit in the plastic groves. It worked for me anyway.

Will find out for sure this coming weekend, after a 2 year layup, if the final outcome of the low water at speed issue is corrected!!!
What I found is the oil coolers severaly plugged with rock pebbles and other crap!!!
