went out today......for some reason my handheld GPS would not lock onto the third satilite so it wouldnt work........first run of the season.....nice little chop on Lake Ontario great conditions actually......4 people in the boat half tank of fuel.......first time I hit the throttles to get on plane........whoa.....signifigantly more torque out of the hole even with four people in the boat......this was verified on a couple of more holeshots.......seemed to pick up the revs more freely........wound it out......hit 52 - 5300 rpm......have never hit 52 - 5300....only hit 5100 a handful of times and that was in perfect conditions, on fumes and always with only two people in the boat.......typical for the config I was running today would be 4800.....maybe 4900......5 grand no way no how

All in all the extra low end is really cool and an extra 300 to 400 on top.....even better.......Im running 21 Mirages......would like to see if it would pull a set of 23s with two people

The 383 in my boat went from a consistant 4900-5000 to 5300-5400 by switching from the stock OMC manifolds to the Revolution Marines. -- Love um!!

Glad to hear you like them. You boating in fresh or salt? Whats the expected life if used in salt with flushing after use. Are they coated or anodized to protect from salt?
