It just so happens that I recently replaced one on my 1988 350 MAG.
Still had the old one in my truck. The Merc p/n on it is 57-93658 then there is a series of numbers "3:C:11:2".
I don't recall just what they mean, try searching for that info.
But I can tell you that the circumference (not diameter) is 44".
I installed a new 100 amp alternator and found that the housing was larger than the original unit. It hit the motor mount bracket limiting belt adjustment to about 1" of travel. I had to find a smaller circumference belt to fit.
