yes. the alts will never get a good ref signal to know when to stop charging...they will essentially charge all the time...
also... if the motors are efi, they REALLY want to be isolated from each other electrcially... i.e. each motor has its own bat/alt that is isolated from the other... the sensors for the efi ALSO rely on a reliable ref signal and with two bats or two alts in the sytem ( in a nut shell) they lose the resolution they need from a SINGLE source refrence...
my suggestion would be as above and if you want a 3rd bat, use a typical bat switch arragement to charge it from one alt... but only RUN on one bat...
