Just finished my 540 ci nat asper motors, i own etop light headers(less than 6 months old) which are on the motors now and in the boat, I'm wondering if I'm losing hp and how much hp buy using these headers, the motors fit the parameters of cmi's big sport tubes, wondering if i should spend the money.

What is the HP of the new engines?
The CMI Catalog recommends Big Tubes when you are over 750 HP. I'm sure if you are close they will not robbing too much HP.
If we can be of any assistance, please let us know.

I think you guys should be fine with the Sport Tubes or Etops. Unless you think you are running well over the 750 HP you probably aren't losing much due to the headers.
Nordic - you are a funny guy!!!

well it seems like there is not much difference, dyno numbers are 656hp at 5350, but big tube headers were used on the dyno not mine.
nortic as for selling you them really really cheap not a chance yet, you never know, depends with my next endevor is.
a 36 deep impact is high on my list right now, w/ trip 300's
