Run 3200-3800rpm (Cruise Speed) @ 55-68mph 90% of time. Will run my Hustler 388 90+ about 10% or less at WOT. Tend to run the boat hard when running in groups or when certain "speed freaks" are aboard
Ditto on short consistent oil changes - 15 hours (mobile 1 syn 15/50) - Drive oil change at 25 hours...

I typically cruise between 3000-3500 and blast to 5900 for 45 seconds to 4 or 5 minutes 4-10 times every time I'm out. I did hold my procharged 502 at 5200 for 20-25 minutes coming back from mackinaw island the long way to locks at cheboygan in lk huron a few years ago,Smitty

Evenings during the week WOT as much as possible (5,10,15,20 minutes - depending on where headed to have dinner on boat
), week-ends lucky if can hold WOT longer than 30 seconds-minute. Water traffic is insane during week-ends.

I do most of my lazy day cruising somewhere between 3000-3600rpm with 3600rpm being just beneath the Secondaries of my carbs. The engines start coming alive and really begin to HOWL as the Secondaries start to crack open. I usually go to WOT mode at least once while I am out, but not much more than 30 seconds or so.

20% of the time until all (most) the mechnical bugs are worked out.
The more seat time I get with the vessel (and equipment) the more WOT I plan on enjoying.
