I hope this doesn't loose any business for them.Just tired of broken promises.I didn't pay $24,000 to go slower atleast not 12 mph.

DOCMANRICH 37 why are you selling your boat, seems like you just dumped a bunch coin into her?

Re: Lost 10 mph.Help
2-3mph loss is a good estimate if you are comparing the same gear ratio and prop pitch.
If you tested an XR with the 1.35 ratio it would run about 5 mph slower than a 1.50 for V-bottoms. (I've done it)
Since the Bmax is 1.30 ratio, and it has more rotating mass you will lose 2-3 mph more.
If you had the prop dialed in perfect you would pick up about 2-3mph. (Not that you want to go that route at this point)
If Bmax offered a 1.50 ratio, I'd run 110+, but they don't at this point. So I run 8mph slower and spend less time being towed in.
Bottom line your speed is exactly what I'd expect given your setup. If you want to try for more with the Bmax drives you need to try shortys, and other props.
Sorry you didn’t know this going in.

I lost 2 mph with the same props and gear ratios you were running. I don't understand why your setup is so different though. Prop slip must be coming into play, are the drives slightly deeper than an bravo causing your prop to bite more?
Honestly, I'd try and have Dean set the boat up for you... Ship it down there and have him get it right...

Re: Lost 10 mph.Help
According to the dyno graph...your making about 50HP less per motor spinning 600rpms slower at WOT.
Send those 28's out and have them labbed/thined out with some cup taken out also.
Or get something on there so your spinning at 5800 for max power again.
I would hate to see ya throwin in the towel with $55K in upgrades just not having to lab some props.
