Default Engine Internals/Components

I'm planning on using the following for my 540, M-3 Procharger Build:

Merlin lll block (not sure if I am going 9.8 or 10.2 deck yet)

AFR 315 Heads CNC Ported, Assembled

Callies or Lunati Crank

Oliver Rods

JE Blower Pistons 9:1 or so

T&D Shaft Rockers

Billet cam from Bob Madera

Morel Lifters

Hoping to run 800+ at 3 PSI of boost and almost 900 HP at 9 PSI of boost. Konrad ACE Drive and CMI Headers of course!

Im interested in input and proven results from similar builds. Any issues with the above components?

CR seems a little high, even the 1075 merc runs only 8.0:1

I'm running 8:1 right now and have been told it's a little low. I was told that 8.8:1 is a little better. Anyone else have proven results with thsi set up and what compression are you running?

I don't need to have any issues with the $$ I'm putting into this project!

if you are running a blower then my opinion is anying above 8.5 is asking for trouble unless you are REALLY on your game for fuel and all other monitoring parameters...and you BETTER have the best knock sensor retard system ever made.

The engine will be dyno'd with O2 sensors and EGTs.
Once in the boat, it will be rechecked and recalibrated with O2 sensors.
