Can anyone tell me what fuel pressure i should use on the old 454 mag. I have a set of CMI stainless exhaust and a 230@50 & 600 lift cam. I have ported the heads a little and the intake as AZ speed do them and put on a massive K&N. I have a adjustable regulator but am unsure what furl pressure i should start with.
Has anyone got any other issues i should look out for.
Pistons are pretty expensive down in the south Pacific so want to keep them non see through.
Thanks
Jason

. My pump is pre set. I think anywhere from 6lbs to 8 would be okay you have to see if it drops off on the top end. hope this helps

I think he is talking about an efi engine. In that case I think is over 38 @ idle. I have mine like in 40 because I have Cmi etop headers on my 502 efi.
