Looking for opinions on Hydraulic steering set ups.
I need something for a 99 Scarab Twin Eng. Bravo set up, But what kind? Is one better than the other, or in some cases are you just paying more for a brand name? Is this something I could find used on e-bay? Or are used ones junk and I should just save my money and buy new.
Any help would be appreciated.
I did find this set in the OSO classifieds - Any good? asking price is 3.5K (Ok price?)

We can set you up with WPM steering, with all the lines you'll need for around that price, new. The tie bar in that pic looks to be for a full staggar set up too. Most of the kits use the same helm, rams are rams. Marine Machine makes a nice set-up just the same.

Who's "We" ? Do you have a number I can call you at. I'm trying to save as much as possible seeing as I'm going to need an extra 7-10K for motor work before the first race.

That price sounds about right. I bought mine new for my 29. I bought mine from IMCO. I'm sure there a few opinions on whats better, but the design is all about the same.
Good luck with whatever you get. Damn,,,they are expensive, but its worth the safety factor!

Try IMCO also...I have their Stern Drive Advantage system and so far its held up in fit and finish better than Latham.
