Anyone have a good method for removing the thru transom studs on a gimble housing? a few of mine are corroded and need to be changed. Cant get them out for nothing, worried about snapping them.

There stainless and are hard as hell to snap. you might strip the threads on the housing if they are corroded in there. . get your self a stud removing too and a 1/2 breaker bar.

I use a Snap On stud removal tool that is awesome!! It's not cheap - but never fails to do the job.
