Default Out Drive experts : What Kind of drive is this? Off 71 Pachanga

This came off my 1971 Sea Ray Pachanga. Every time something on the drive broke we would just look for a complete drive just to have the extra parts. Well this past summer we pulled this old system and replaced it with a new Alpha unit.

So I'm looking to identify this one, anyone? I know they discontinued them around 72 or 73 and stopped making parts around 93 or so.

So if any one has an old boat than needs a drive and thinks this will work PM or e-mail me. I would rather see it used than just scrapped out

Early 60's they had the 1/A, 1/B and I think 1/C drives. They were called EZ shift drives. They also made a number 2 drive but it was huge like a TR drive. Also would swing counter clockwise in the transom. Don't think they made them in the 70's but Sea Ray used to buy large quanities of drives and use them for years after Merc stopped producing them. I remember these drives as you pull the hinge pins to remove the drive. Probably not worth anything today.

Did the engine use a automotive type clutch with pressure plate and throw out equipment?

Sounds right, Like I said it came off my 1971 18ft Pachanga. I'm not trying to sell it, just give it away to someone that may need it. Thanks for the help.
