Unfortunately my trailer sits out in the elements in an uncovered trailer parking area. The boat is permanently on a Hydra Hoist unless going for service or to other lake which is rare. It is a 2005 Rage trailer and already starting to rust and paint oxidize from the elements.
Any suggestions how to "mothball" the trailer so it will not deteriorate. I do have the tire covers on all tires and I sprayed the chrome wheels with a coating of grease.

Not trying to be a smart azz, but washing and waxing will help preserve her. Another option is get a car port to park it under. You could also try one of those huge silver tarps and wrap it up like a present. I bought a 24'X40' one the other day at walmart for $52.00.

This stuff is supposed to be the cats azz. Alot of people use this on snow plows up here. I just got a free sample and cant tell you at this point how it works. I did a sample test on some bare metel laying around in sept. Seems like it's working.

If you email them they may send you a free sample. The kid used my sample winterizing the jet boat. Looks like I'll just buy some. I'll try anything once to avoid that nasty salt. Between this and salt-away it all seems like good product.
