Wow, is that a deal for that package? Seems like it would be.

And if Merc paints it blue, does that double the price?

I was told this carb is good to around 475hp, and can be easily modified for another 25-50cfm. I took mine apart and thought it was a pleasure to work with (compared to a holley). Tuning changes were very intuitive. In stock form, the carb was very roughly cast and assembled, and I'm sure I picked up a bit of flow by smothing things out and taking off the choke. I'm only aiming for 450hp but would love to see what it would flow now compared to an 800 holley.

If you decide to buy a holley and want to get rid of your weber for cheap, let me know. I'd like one to play around with.

I have a Weber Carb and Merc/GM Intake from a Gen VI (1996) 454Mag I'd sell.
The parts were removed after one season because the engine was built up for 500HP.
PM me if anyone is interested...

I sent mine off to a rebuild shop in SoCal to refurbish and make it work as new. The shop stated that they have much experience and was very professional on the phone; so we will see. The price was right.
After the sea trial and tuning, I may have 2 weber assys for sale as well

Just got my weber back from below company and WOW, very impressed with the work.

fyi
I sent them a crusty looking weber and it comes back looking virtually new and repainted. Under the estimate and within the time they stated...well done gents

if it functions like it looks...I will be DELIGHTED.
