Glad to hear this....Makes me wonder how many people out there have actually seen this on a Blue stock motor. My motor has it on 4 intake bolts( allen head sockets) all of the water pump bolts ( Hex head again) and all three of the Crank pully bolts. They all 3 locations have the same serial # on the tag attacthed to the stainless wire run through the heads of the hex head bolts. For a while there I was feeling like my 500 EFI was a strange one. Will take pictures on Monday.....

Could it be someone needed to practice their safety wire technique?
Is the safety wire on the WP and harm balancer tied together? Like one long wire connecting all the bolts, twisted appropriately in between? That's standard A&P technique I think.
Thanks,
Michael

My 1996 525SC had the factory wire seals on the intake bolts and harmonic balancer bolts with a leaded stamped serial number.
