Hydraulic Helm question
Getting ready to convert to a full hydraulic helm. What is the difference between these two products. Imco is around $400 and all others are around $950 for the tilt hubs.

Re: Hydraulic Helm question
Scarb28,
You might want to call IMCO and ask them if their internet pricing is current or at least if they are going to honor it, I am pretty sure they have raised the price of that unit.
I sell their tilt hub for $889.00

Re: Hydraulic Helm question
WPM makes a great full hydraulic system for less than the competition. Comes with custom built ss lines, no push-n-lock bs. We sell them exclusively. Call if you're interested.

Re: Hydraulic Helm question
The imco one doesn't look quite as fancy as the others in this thread. I made my own with a Teleflex tilt helm like this: http://www.go2marine.com/product.do?no=93570F
I cut the steering shaft and welded it to the "gear" that I cut off a forklift steering wheel. Then I used something like this http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/w...70_13568_13568 to attach it to the dash. I'll see if I have a picture of it. It was less than $150 to put it together.

Look at the picture in your link, that's not Imco's billet tilt hub, thats the one with the rubber around it. The one TP Marine showed you is the better hub. Remember, none of those come with the Charlynn pump that goes behind the dash. The Pump kit with hoses and filter will cost you another 800 or so.

Re: Hydraulic Helm question
Thanks - I figured that web price was too good to be true.
I already have exteranal rams mounted and I have the Char-Lynn valve. Next purchase needs to be the helm, hoses, PS tank and filter to complete the Full Hydraulic system. Please correct me if I need aditional items.
