Can you change the rotation of 5.7 Mercruiser?

If you are running this with a Mercruiser alpha drive, it would be a lot less screwing around if you remodel your outdrive to turn L.H. ?? Or even run them both R.H. if you have power steering on it as I am sure you do, you wont have much of a torque problem anyway. Good luck

not uncommon, my gidson is that way...just rebuilt my port V-drive, and used a seperate mounted BW 72c and you cannot convert the 71 or 72c's to change the rotation...and the v-drives don't care..they are gear to gear...you just swap the vent vs dipstick for whichever rotation that one is running

I have a same problem on my aquasport... Port engine is blow (total lost) block is crooked too. Cant find same 5.7 mercruiser opposite rotation block to rebuild. If anybody knows where or how please im here...
