Default power steering

Ok...THanks for all the help with my steering problem, I took the transom off and had the gimbal fixed and its tight. Well, was tight. after a few runs I get slop again and its not in the gimbal or tiller arm, they are still tight. My steering ram and cable are new, but I see 2 inches of play when rotating the wheel...After fixing gimbal there was none at all...I also hear like a leak in the ram, but the power fluid remains full and no apparent leak...Any ideas? Is there a bleeding vavle im missing or air in line comman? bravo drive 454...Any help appreciated. (Hydralic steering is not an option unfortuanly, no room on transom...mike

Has to be an air lock dosnt it. Maybe try and purge the fluid. Sounds weird. If its not fluid then you need to look real close at everything from the wheel back. Probally be easy when you find it. Jas

A machinist down here did it, well the gimbal. The tiller just needed new nuts...There is no play in the gimbal or arm connecting to the steering arm. Seems air releases a little when i move drive back/ forth...how ya bleed?
