foot rest

my wife would like a foot rest for when she has the bolster seat up. I would like to get her one but would rather it be a billit one all I can find is the cast one with teak in it from Garelick looks to old school for my daytona ANY IDEAS ?

that looks great butt she also wants it to fold up when the bolster is down i did just order a s.s. folding bracket from gem lux and a 16x6 step plate from dana marine should do the trick she has never said no on any of my perf. parts the least i can do is give her the on two things she wants the step and life line vests

Garelick makes a folding one that has white vinyl insert strips with an aluminum looking frame if your idea doesn't pan out. Steve

There was someone on Hot Boat who made special billet foot rests and they looked awesome. Kind of like Get Real's battery boxes. If you get on there and do some homework you can find them. I remember they were a bit pricey and came in several sizes.
