I installed a set on a jet boat I had a few years ago. Mine were not the full stainless steel so I made sure I drained them after every use. They were great. They fit perfectly but with no mufflers it was very luod which is the way I ran it most of the time anyway.
I dont think you would be dissapointed but nowadays mufflers would be a must.

Jerry.

They were on a boat that I owned from 03 to 05. They were great (stainless) and are still working fine now for the current owner. I would recommend them....and they are LOUD!!! See picture below.

I've installed several sets. They fit great and have held up fine, in fresh water. I've had a set for 5 years and they show no signs of rust. They are the standard header with non stainless outer tubes.

We've put the stainless units on many boats, including our own.

4 years on these with no sign of trouble.

They are made by Lightning in CA and no, they do not make any for the 496.

We have them listed here;

I want to install these on 572 tall decks .Are they narrow enough . Its a very tight fit. Currently run merc exhaust and they touch 100% between the 2 motors.
