If you do not have any luck go to the airport and go standby!!!! More then likely you will get down. Are they direct from the airport you are flying?

Oh another trick I did was sign up for status with the airline. Some times there is a fee other times not. If you have status then you can be first in line for standby and also upgrades to 1st class

Looks like 500 bucks to join Delta..... Could be well worth it. If you have it then you can call 24 hours before the flight and get a 1st class upgrade if a seat is available. My wife had Silver Elite and she never flew with us common folk!!!

thanks Jon,
They do fly direct out of our local airport ( GRR )
I'm not sure I fly enough for the membership but good to no.
They are about 5 min. from work so I can stop there tomorrow and ask the details of stand by.
Thanks for any and all help.

You can travel stand by the day of the flight. Most airlines call that with in 24 hours of when your ticket is booked. You go there early and if they have an empty seat you get to hope on with no additional cost. I have done it a number of times.

Sadley the Delta supervisor said this happens more often than people realize.
When you click on the box for dates or times and it stays Highlighted tell you click somewhere else.
You can F*** it up cause it is still active when you scroll the
mouse wheel.
So you think your scrolling down the web page and in reality you may have just changed your date and or times.
ARGH.................Can't believe we never caught this sooner.
