Well carrboy..you should save up for about $3k each motor..by the time you get all the stuff you will need besides the blower and intake..that is a "used" guess...but maybe you can sell your old intake and carb like I did and recoup some of your expense. Not gonna splash this bad boy until 2nd week of April I think...got some other stuff to do to it yet..going to fire it up this Sunday though just to make sure no leaks or anything..& get the timing close...thanks for the heads up BD, if I have any issues I will try your fixes..those intake bolts are a b*@#tch to get to when the blower is on, but I have a special tool in mind that I can use to tighten those allen heads.

You really want to separate the blower from the intake. When you put the blower back on the intake refer to the B&M manual. Tighten in cross pattern and check for binding as you go through the pattern in 4 steps.

How are things working out? I just got a B&M 250 that is going on my 502. twin carb set up like you have there. Can't wait. Did you dyno or on water tune it? My builder and I are going to dyno tune it so we get it right on the first time. I would like to know what boost you are running and what HP you think you are making.
Thanks

Well, I have had a few setbacks..nothing I could not fix though..I am heading to the lake to install a new intake..old one had too much corrosion around the water intakes...I made 1# of boost with the 4" pulley..tried the 3.34" and made 4# before the intake gasket blew...new gasket on Saturday and will try a 3" pulley..hope to make 6# or so...I am guessing around 650hp or so..I will update after I get her dialed in...don't get discouraged if you have a few little issues...just take your time and do it right...
