Head and cam upgrade
I have a 1999-28' Checkmate with a single 502 MPI Generation 6 engine. I have installed Cyclone headers, MSD kit, K&N flame arrestor and 1.7 roller rockers. I am planning on using a set of Dart Iron Eagle heads with (308) 2.250 intake and 1.880 exhaust and 119cc combustion chambers.
The cam I chose is a Competition Cam. Both intake and exhaust are 224 @ .050 duration and 566 intake and 566 exhaust lift at 112 degrees lobe angle. Is this a good combination? If so, what kind of HP can I expect?
Any information or advice are appreciated.
Thank you

I just put a set of Iron Eagle on a 540. If you use them you'll need to get some port and bowl work done. I was a little disapointed the workmanship of them. They had ridges under the seat area. Make sure they have the Inconel Exhaust valves and set up for Hyd. Roller if your going that route.
