Any thoughts on the stock big block Mag rod strength considering arp bolts, resizing, and balancing? Assuming 6K rpm max and under 7 psi boost?

The dimple rods are 4340 forgings. They will take a tremdous amount of power with those huge bolts that come with them. I've got customers with 800HP blower engines in marine use using them and I have customers with 8400rpm pull truck engines with multiple seasons on them with no broken rods.

I dynoed my motor yesterday and Its making all of that. I need to detune it. I am kinda looking for someone that has run their motor with a known torque curve that has run for lets say for a couple years. How much to detune is the question.

He has some supercharged 500EFIs making big power for a few of years now.

I know a couple of engine builders in our area who have been around for a long, long time that have NEVER seen a GM rod fail. There are a lot of people boating here with 8-900hp with blown 502's with stock rods and no problems...The cranks will go before the rods at these power levels..

So at 5250 rpm the Hp and torque are the same that means they will or should do 850ft lbs. Thats good.
