Lightbulb converting std. bravo low water pickup

Am interested in converting standard Xr Bravo lowers to low water/ dual pickup.
Have seen a case on ebay awhile back that was modified.
Has anyone done this , and would anyone know hole sizes ? I believe other passages must be made in case and a block off installed in the bullet to keep oil and water seperate.
Thanks, BBB

If you look at a DWP or LWP, there is a large dia hole drilled on an angle to get to the front of the bullet. If I remember correctly that passage is not drilled on the standard pickup. And the plug that you would have to put in the bullet, well seems like a lot of work to me. But I guess it might be doable.
I have not done it, so just thinking out loud. It would be easier to convert a LWP to dual. I have a spare LWP case that I am contemplating changing to side water pick up, but havent done it yet. I would cover the lwp with a Hydromotive nose cone.. and just drill the sides and cut some reliefs on the front edge..
If you do make the conversion BBB.. post some pics.. would be interesting to see..

Mr G - Just currious why you wouldn't run with the dual pickups? What's the reason for you changing to just the upper?

If I dont need the low pickup.. I hate to disturb the water flow around the bullet.. So far I have only had to block off the two top holes on the side and still get plenty of water.. And I run Hydomotive cone, so it is easier to plug the lower holes.. and just run the side pickup..
