Default GM pistons?

Is there any diff. from merc pistons and GM other than twice the price?Thanks in advance.

Yea but I already have FREE main bearings so thats 1 less part I need.

I thought all Merc 502's such as the Merc HP525EFI's have CP Pistons not GM.
