the originals say gaffrig. the replacements came from gaffrig direct in chicago. none of them are or were the livorsi. they are just trash and if i handn't spent so much time on the dash and new harness for them i would simply throw them away directly and replace them... i would kill my mother for some nice 20 year old mechanical stewart warners with the super long cappillary tubes that they made for marine use. they were the best instruments ever made.

Steve -

If I can help you in anyway let me know. Pull a gauge and send it to me, something isn't right. I'd like to help you get resolution to the issue. Send me a few pictures of the fogging gauges please to:

[email protected]

Sincerely,

Kirk

Gaffrig now has a huge selection of colors and styles......
White
Black
Platinum
Carbon Fiber
All available with chrome or colored rims. New real glass lenses. No discoloring or lens crazing.

Before and after pics of my Nordic. Started with the factory Gaffirig II (by livorsi) and swapped out to the Autometer Pro Comp Marine, Chome and Platinum.

Nice change I like it. I think I am going to give the Auto Meters a try. Thanks for the pictures.

I'd go with the Autometer's also, but I cant seem to get anyone to reply to an email. So if there is a supplier here that wants a sale, get ahold of me.

Sorry, but I work with phones all day, I cant afford the time to make a call and discuss it that way.

BTW....those autometers look killer

That's what we are here to do. Anyone can make a sale and take money. The most common issue is over tightening the gauges when installing them. I am certainly not saying that is the case here, but I'd like to fix the problem if there is one.

Steve - Haven't seen any pictures yet. I will mention this to Mike as I will be at Gaffrig this morning.
