Any Place To Buy Mobil 1 Mail Order?
#11
Ive been using the 15/50 Extended Performance with the gold cap. It seems to be getting harder to get. Mobil 1 is not making them anymore in the 5 qt containers. Walmart does not carry the Extended Performance 15/50 and the local auto parts stores dont always have enough quarts for 2 motors. I found the 5 qt 15/50 in the regular Mobil 1 silver cap. Im going to use that. I change the oil often enough I think the silver should be ok. Its not for blower motors, just HP500's.

Griff,
Have you done this or is this something that you think is possible to do? If yes to the former who at Walmart did you talk to to accomplish the order. I asked the Walmart person at the automotive counter and was told no on special order of M1 oil that they do not stock re: M1 20W50 V-Twin is not a oil they stock.

NOKO is a Mobil distributor. It’s the cheapest place I've found for all the mobile 1 products. I use the V-twin and the Mobil one 75W90 in my drive.
Their number is 800 500 6626

That's what I just picked up today. 20W50 is obsolete there now. $26.50/5 qts.

My local Walmart just started carrying the old formula 15/50 Mobil 1 full synthetic, red cap again a few months ago, so I don't need to special order it. It said "new" on the shelf. If its available at one Walmart, its available at all of them. Just ask.

Do you have a "real" auto parts store like a napa, carquest or auto value that sells any mobil products? I run a business and any time I ask a store that carrys a certain product line to get something they don't appear to have on the shelf its usually only a phone call away at their distributer and they will gladly accomadate a customer,Smitty
