Merc MPI question (wiring harness and distributor)
I just got my new Merc 383 MPI, and there is no control wiring going to the distributor. There is a 3 pin socket on the distributor, but there is no wiring from the wiring harness to go to it, and I cannot find it anywhere.
The ECM is part #ECM0402.
Thanks

OK, I found out that it doesn't need it since the ECU uses a crank position sensor to fire the ignition.
But now, the 2nd question is how do I now wire the Alpha interrupt switch to it?
From the archives:

Tells me to use a NC switch on the white wire. But this is for the older distributor triggered ignition. I am guessing it should work the same for the crank position trigger.
Any suggestions appreciated.
