i mounted mine directly to the cooler with a double swivel union then plumed the rest

Old picture, but something like this? Open72, this might be an option to mount the KE thermostat at the exit in your bell housing cooler. On my old engines I use a SS pipe 90. There might be enough room...just a thought.
