my drive gauges when drives are all the way down read port side "0" starboard "3" how can I get them even ? already tried adjustments from drive units made a little difference . is there an adjustment under the dash ?

On the outdrive, you can screw in or out the black round plastic end piece to adjust, sounds like you already did this. Surprised this didn't correct you issue.
From behind dash, remove nuts from gauge mounting bracket. Pull back mounting bracket and you'll find four blocks with the indicator needles on them. You can adjust the location of the blocks with the small nut fore and aft of the block. This will only give you a little adjustment and it's a PIA. Most adjustment is on the mechanical end attached to the outdrive. Hope that helps!!!
