Default Drive Issue

Guys,

Before I start on the boat tonight, thought I might get some suggestions...

At LOTO last week and stripped the splines out of my drive coupler. Luckily, a reputable marina actually had no work and said bring it over. They replaced the coupler and all is good.

Now, that drive, when placed into reverse, is a biatch to shift back to neutral. I can strong arm it, easier to use both hands, but super hard to shift. It was not this way before. It was "buttery smooth." Likely, did they pinch a cable? Why is forward still ok, but not reverse? Mechanic said look for a pinched cable, otherwise, pull the drive?

It is a Bravo upper with Gaffrig shifters. Is there and easy adjustment for this?

The mech. said he noticed it, but thought it was a "little stiff," and must be getting worse by my description on the phone. It is not getting worse, and was always that stiff. I thought they would have noticed and at least tried to fix their mistake. Hopefully, just an adjustment (especially since I am 6hrs away).

Thanks, guys...
