Come on..., Dr. J uses knife edges..

I have a couple of these done the right way, if anyone wants them just pay the shipping. I don't have any use for them and just moved shops so trying to clean up a little. I have one complete with the CP Performance upgrade kit with reprogrammed MEFI 3, adjustable fuel pressure reg, and complete harness. I think $600 is probably a good deal?

I agree on the Holley type intake being better overall...for power and for ease.

Hope this helps.
You are absolutely right. I did come back and round off the tops a little after the pic was taken. It was already knife edged when I got my hands on it. I was afraid to go much deeper and flatten the center divider since I wasn't sure if it is solid all the way down. I had no intentions on doing this. Like I said, it was already hacked on when I got it. The breaks on the sides are a pretty soft transition. I see if looks a little steep in the pic, but it really isn't that steep at all. I would rather just have it extrude honed. It's not worth the money for the time it takes. I was trying to do my best with what I had to work with. It certainly isn't perfect though. Thanks for the info.
Eddie

Here are a couple of pics of my manifold from when I made the twin rail set up and how I milled then blended the top. I too made the amateur mistake of making center divider come to a knife edge , my head porter and SB told me though that YOU DON"T SEE AIRPLANES WITH POINTY WINGS so I rolled the center more, Smitty
You can go crazy blending the top but there is no good way to get deep down into the manifold to full port it though aside from extrude honing or having some custom grinding mandrels made and tediously porting it so remember the runners are still going to limit your flow!
