Default VHF radio question

The radio in my boat isn't receiving anything. If I'm a couple feet away with my handheld radio I can xmit and rcv, but the radio won't pick up anything else, weather, etc... any thoughts?

Could be an extreamly complicated internal microprocessor malfunction,,,,, or it could simply be fu@ked up . You should have your "Guy" Mich check it out for you.

The weather sucks, you would only become more depressed by listening to it anyways. Could be worse!!! You could have a blade fall off the other prop. Remind me not to follow in your wake, one of those flying blades could take the beak clean off my Fountain. Then all you Formula guys would be making fun of my "little" 33 1/2 footer.

To catch one of my blades you'd need to have your beak in the water. Don't be takin' my new spot in the boathouse

The " Beak " is at the front of the boat 5P, it is a aerodynamic appendage which aids in lift to generate the blinding speeds for which Fountains are so noted, it's not ment to get wet .
However the rest of the boat, ment to get wet, will do so some time this week.

You be goin' in the transient slip next to the wall. RIP tells me that he has it all de-spidered and ready for you. Just in time to rock and roll .

Anyone hear from the Senator or Bird? Looked like a great day for boatin' in O-HI-O.

We thought you were comming by land. Plus the Senator said your boat bottom was all covered in 'Swego crud and figured you'd be days getting it off. You better clean that glow in the dark crud off before you come into our boathouse, we have standards up here. Fleas are one thing, but radioactive bottom slime is a whole different deal.

And WTF is "drinve te boat up" ??? We warned you about the effects of being that close to a neculear reactor. You have met Thirdbird, haven't you???
