Need help with 454 cam choice
I have a 96' 454 Mag EFI/mp motor. Just had the heads redone and port and polished. Dropped a #1 intake valve. Possible going to change the stock exhaust. I need to know what cam to go with, size, with out having to re-map the ECM. Trying to get some added power without having to change major componets.

The best mid-range cam used in the 502 540 and I use it in my 572's - LOVE THIS CAM!!!!
Good mid range torque and HP, fair idle, performance usage, mild bracket racing, good w/manifold nitrous system, auto trans w/3000+ converter, marine applications: for 454-502+ cu.in. modified engines in performance applications with aftermarket dry pipe exhaust systems. 3400-3800 cruise RPM, 10.0 to 11.5 compression ratio advised. Good w/Roots supercharger, 15 lbs. maximum boost w/8.0 maximum compression ratio advised.
