center console

I am in the market for a 30 33 ft center console. I have researched Concept, Renegade, Runaway and recently Carrera. I am limited to a 8 - 8 1/2 ft beam due to storage. I would like to get 70mph top, 2mpg at 45 or 50 mph, 400 mile range and room for 6-8 people. Full open console is what I am leaning towards (Concept 32 or Runaway 32). Any suggestions, comments or opinions ???

Concept 32 in my opinion. Never heard of the runaway 32. Only know that Concept builds a high quality, attractive, efficient and affordable center console. Make sure you don't need a cuddy because the 32 only has a toilet under the bow, no bed. the runaway 32 may be as nice I've just never seen one. The concept should run 70 w/ 275 Verados or equivalent power.

I don't think many people have heard of Runaway. They're relatively new builder. It's a small operation, they only make the 32 footer. It's has a sleek look like a Concept or Carrera.

I also considered a Concept 36, the narrow beam and proven hull. Yours looks really cool. Just don"t have the room and I will doing a lot of traveling with it. How is it hauling the 36 around ?

Thanks for the replies, I am new to the site, but not new to the industry. Worked for Gaffrig before his buddy Mike Livorsi took over when it was a small shop in Chicago 20 yrs ago. Also worked for Mark Berman of Bam marine when he was under neath Marina City by the river also in Chicago. I was a welder/fabricator. Always into offshore sport boats.

Concept seems to be the best product for the money. They don't seem to be over priced like some other manufacturers. Can't decide about a full open or bed. Going to do a lot diving, fishing and general screwing around with the family. A bed is nice to have, but I don't think It will get much use. Full open probably will be more practical.
